With the number of incoming from the disaster, Sam brings Haleh back. Eve tells Sam it is about time (she made a strong decision like that). Clemente is running triage in the ambulance bay. One patient was walking his dog and she is missing. Another wants to call his fiancee but decides not to go through with the wedding. Another dies with family around. Lots of firefighters. Gee, maybe they didn't really have sex at all, they just both got drunk and passed out. Too bad we get what's supposed to be a big Neela episode (TPTB said that in one of their lame interviews) and all we'll hear about on the boards is Luka and Abby. ------------------ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- legaleagle1 Member (9/27/05 12:44 am) When I saw the title my first thought was that this was a hoax. It is certainly close to a couple of past hoaxes. I'm going to enjoy the Carby reaction, whatever else. I very much doubt that this was written in because of an unplanned pregnancy, there have been too many baby anvils around MT since last season. TPTB were going to go somewhere with Abby's biological clock, and having already pushed the baby storlyline with Luka, this is an opportunity for the two of them to at least talk about their feelings on the subject. And maybe Wells is sick of hearing from the Carby contingent and wants a chance to give them closure by having Abby say something like, "I never was in love with Carter," or "I could never have a baby by any man." One thing is certain: it will not lead to Luja convincing Abby that she really really wuvs Carter. As some are currently suggesting.
Lubasha Visnjic: ima63 Member (9/27/05 1:00 am) But with regard to the earlier spoiler about Abby getting mixed up in a romantic triangle, I'm wondering where the third point of the triangle is. At this point, and going on spoilers for previous episodes, Sam doesn't seem to be involved in this at all. Much as I dislike Abby, I'm sort of looking forward to this, because MT and GV do play off one another very well. I'm really intrigued to see how far it goes and whether it really is "two ships that pass in the night" or whether it's going to turn out to be the real deal. Strangely enough, it could actually have the effect of rehabilitating the character of Abby for me. ---------------------- mackiaveli Member (9/27/05 5:33 am) I have never shipped a couple on ER. I think Sam and Luka were horrible together. And I don't know if anything good will come out of Luka and Abby happening again. The only thing I can say is that it will make things more interesting in my opinion or at the very least shake stuff up. But I don't care one way or the other. I think I'm going to really enjoy this episode because it sounds like it will be fast moving, energetic, and have alot going on. Plus it looks to be a big episode for Neela [and others]. It will be good to see Neela in on the action out in the field during the plane crash.. Look forward to more info.

I don't understand why some people are still convinced they'll get back together. The producers, Noah and Maura said in several interviews that there won't be a reunion or anything. They had a wonderful friendship back in season 7 and 8, but afterwards? Sorry, it was just crap. And Noah said Carter will stay with Kem in the Congo for good, he'll just come back to visit his clinic. Anyway, I'm going to enjoy the Carby reactions, too. From what I've read so far, they're shocked, but they have already begun to post possibilities how this will lead to the reunion of their ship. I think this is hilarious! In a way I hope they do go with the baby angle but that it is planned by Luka and Abby. They decide they both want a child so, what the heck, lets do it together. After seeing the premiere and seeing the last few episodes of the 11th season, I want Luka with ANYONE except Sam. If they do pair him with Abby, if they do it right, then it would be quite interesting. And it's true that GV and MT seem to work well with each other. At this stage, i want Luka happy and hey if it is going to be Abby, then so be it. And if it does happen, I want to see the chaos that ensues between Abby & Sam (Meow!!) Also, someone mentioned about Carbies exploding. That would be an interesting sight. I mean, I take the subway home from work, so if someone's head just explodes, I bet they were reading this board all day like me!! ------------------- jenstwins Member (9/27/05 9:30 pm) LUBY - I'm not for it personally, but I'm not going to bash or laugh at those that are; to each his own. Others disliked Samka; some (myself included) liked and still like Luka and Sam together; please don’t bash me because of it. I decided not to be hasty in posting my thoughts and feelings on this because first I wanted to get as many details as I could get my hands on. I took some time to really think about this and see where it could go or not and really there are so many options and interpretations available. "Two ships" could in fact relate to the poem about two ships passing in the night; hence an indication that Luka and Abby will only be together briefly? On the other hand, it could be TPTB's message to us internet fans that two ships (Carby & Samka) have sailed. Who knows? Not me. The only reason I doubt the second is because of the Luka/Sam/Abby triangle "spoiler" (if it's even worthy of being called that) we have from TVGuide. If there is some truth to that, then we should still expect some Luka and Sam interaction. ABBY – The one thing I am nearly certain of is that Abby will become pregnant; it’s like the writing is on the wall (REDRUM…REDRUM). LUKA – The thing that bothers me most about this storyline is that they are seemingly making him look like he’s desperate for children; so much so that he might settle. Now don’t get all bothered by thinking that I’m suggesting he IS settling for Abby; IMO, he is. That’s just MY opinion and who am I to know what's really going on. SAM - This show has done no favors for LC. They continue to write her character as the b!tch and as a fan of both the actress and the character this disheartens me to no end. Part of me wishes that LC would leave the show so that I can see her play a character that is capable of smiling. If only ONE thing comes from Luka and Abby being together (once, twice or forever), I hope it’s that when Sam finds out about it that they show her as broken hearted, sad even, but strong and willing to either accept things as they are or stand up and with integrity, win her man back. I’d like to see the character move past her anger and jealousy that TPTB seem to have a fetish for.

And as one who neither shipped Luby or Carby, it is vastly entertaining. Oh, it won't get me to actually watch - I lost interest at the end of S10 and get my fix with the DVDs from when the show (for moi) had a pulse, but the thought nevertheless amuses me, so I had to stop in and spread the joy. ------------------------

Crash Course: On the November 17 episode of ER, paramedics rush to the scene after a commercial jet and a private plane collide over Chicago. So hoe far did producers go to get the look just right? The Mojave Desert. That’s where they gathered pieces of a 737,727 and a DC-9 from an airport junkyard. The parts were then transported in seven 53-foot trailers to the Los Angeles set where 50 crew members worked for two weeks to prepare the scene. Break Time: When guest star John Stamos wasn’t filming scenes with series regular Parminder Nagra, he was showing the actress photos of the set and going over lines with her. “I am having such a blast with Parminder ,” Stamos gushes. “I come to work just to make her laugh.” Acting Ace: Yes, that’s tennis star Serena Williams. She plays Alice, a working mom who lives in the building hit by the plane. “It looks so real here,” Williams says. “And later on I get covered in a lot more blood.”
Lubasha Visnjic: CodySNLER They interviewed Parminder, Stamos, and Serena Williams. There showed a couple of clips, and all I can say is I'm really excited for this episode. They showed one clip (or atleast how they edited it) where Neela runs into the apartment building, and then it suddenly explodes, and they showed Pratt with a concerned look on his face. Parminder: "I've never seen anything quite like it." Serena: This is crazy, its a real plane and there are cars, especially when the fire starts, it's insane..It's so real." Parminder: "Literally, I was three steps away from fire and wood that went down in front of me, but luckily we had great stunt people and I felt very safe and protected." Stamos: "I immediately thought, well, I'm not getting on a plane for a long long time."
