Спойлер!!! 1210 "All About Christmas Eve"
Lubasha Visnjic: Thanks to deedee at ER Forums: Work dates 10-13-10/24, Director Leslie Linka Glatter. Eve is fired in response to a complaint by Sam and Luka about her actions. Sam and Luka go to Eve's boss and make a complaint about her, and Eve gets fired. Weaver takes her son to a firehouse Christmas party after a "pretty good looking and in great shape" firefighter urges her to. The firefighter will possibly appear again later in the season . A mom tells Sam that Alex is scaring her son and she doesn't want them to be friends anymore. There's a new recurring character -- a female surgeon, smart, somewhat arrogant, not very happy with the ER staff. Dr. Clemente's ex, an "extremely hot" aggressively sexual woman, arrives and they hook up. They're looking for a name actress for at least four episodes. Abby and Neela are urged to kiss under the mistletoe by a ten year old boy who reminds them that Madonna and Britney did. ------------------------------------------ the firefighter is male, 35-40, called O'Terry.

Sit down kids, because there's a staff party. Pie, carols, smiles. Hey, you! Miss Lawyer! Luka smiles and gives gifts to everybody, everybody. He is happy. He and Abby are spending Christmas together. She's not unhappy at all. Well, kids that's it. There's a little thing I would love to tell you, but it's so juicy, so juicy... I cannot do it! But until another flower does, don't fight because it's not related to the usual folks, ok? Be careful with what you spoil! Love you all! Ho ho ho! -------------------------------------------
Lubasha Visnjic: Haleh sings a carol at the party with Morris and others as backup and it looks like we get to see it! Neela and Abby gossip about Luka and Neela suggests that Luka is THE ONE for Abby. Could her nose be any farther up Abby's a**? Could TPTB ever try to let the story tell itself? And Abby makes a rather strange remark to Neela implying that she (Neela) is either already married or close to it. Nothing else in the sides about it, that's all there is. Luka is ER Chief! Eve is fired after dumping urine on an obnoxious patient and punching him in the mouth. Sam and Luka were there and the boss nurse asks them about what happened. Alex' friend's mother says she doesn't want him around her son because Alex keeps saying Steve is dead (alas, Sam says he's not) and Alex suggested that his friend's father might die, too. She tells Sam the kid needs help (I'd say that's accurate), Luka is present for at least a portion of this conversation. -------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abby tells Neela that Luka 'asked' her to spend Christmas with him, so although it is apparently a month or so since the hookup, they aren't on such sure footing that the holidays are a given.

Lubasha Visnjic: The episode apparently starts off with Luka hauling a huge Santa-like sack into the ER, randomly handing out presents to a sidewalk sweeper, a paramedic, and a little boy as he goes. Inside he gives a gift to Frank, who says he hasn't gotten a present at County since the helicopter fell on Romano. (Snerk.) Neela snags a neon stethoscope. Morris wanders up asking if he gets anything, and Luka hands him N'Sync's greatest hits. (Double snerk!) Morris is appalled. Haleh apparently has auditions for her back-up singers, and Morris makes the cut. So does someone named Marquez, who I think is a paramedic or nurse. There is a scene of them singing on stage at Ike Ryan's while others such as Luka, Ray, and Frank watch from the audience. (I can't wait to see Scott getting his groove on.) O'Terry the firefighter convinces Kerry to bring Henry by the station for their Christmas party. She's a little reluctant about it but he insists that she's family. (He has apparently also just replaced some shingles on her roof). She does stop by the party, and one of the firemen exclaims that Henry looks just like Sandy. Kerry observes a photo of Sandy on the station's wall of heroes. I'll probably cry during that scene. Pratt lays the smackdown on two teenagers who somehow accidentally shot a six-year-old girl, forcing them to watch while she's being worked on in trauma. Jessica Albright the surgical resident is indeed a bitch--a bitch with a point, but still a bitch. Did I read somewhere around here someone hoping that Dubenko might hook up with this chick? I sure hope not. Besides, it'd probably be unethical (not that that stopped Abby, but anyway). Tamara, who seems to be the main patient guest star for this episode, apparently has ovarian cancer and is hiding it from her family until after the holidays. She's refusing treatment because she doesn't want her children to remember her as a sickly bald lady after she's gone. Is it just me, or are a damn lot of people getting cancer this season?
