Передрались за своих кандидатов.

Filming commences in Jan 2006 in Prague. Grover reveals: “I met the producers in LA a week ago. They are yet to announce this on their official website. That’s because they first want to announce the next Bond. As of now, they haven’t zeroed in on who will play the central role. At least 300 actors have been considered for the role.” Casting for 007 was reportedly completed last week with the frontrunners being Daniel Craig, Henry Cavill, Sam Worthington and Goran Visnjic. Casino Royale is scheduled for an Oct 19, 2006 release. Indian actor is Casino Royale villain The Times of India, via Coming Soon, is reporting that Indian actor Gulshan Grover has been cast as the villain in the forthcoming 007 blockbuster, "Casino Royale". Grover tells the paper he's off to Prague in January to play what he calls is "the ultimate villain." 50-year-old Grover, whose credits include "My Bollywood Bride" and "The Fall", continues, "I met the producers in LA a week ago. The French James Bond Club scored a brief interview with director Martin Campbell this week, and the New Zealander spilled the beans on the 007 casting status. Campbell said that the race to become the sixth James Bond was now between Goran Visnjic, Henry Cavill, Daniel Craig and Sam Worthington. MI6 reported exclusively revealed back in March that Visnjic was Campbell's favourite for the role before screen testing had begun. Campbell also confirmed that all four had made performed final screentests. In other casting news, Campbell said that he was thinking of casting a French actor in the role of Le Chiffre - the original villain from Ian Fleming's debut 1953 novel. Contradicting screenwriter Paul Haggis' back to basics comments last month, Campbell said there would be "some" gadgets in the film. An announcement on the role of James Bond is due in less that weeks time according to Campbell, which is in line with last month's report when MI6 learned from integrated sources that a date in October had already been penciled in pending an agreement on the casting. Though rumours were kicking about that the sacked 007 would be asked back for the new film, mainly because they couldn't find a fitting proxy, the film's director says otherwise. Campbell, who directed Brosnan in "Goldeneye" (1995), told JamesBond007.net, that Brosnan's definitely not being asked back to play Bond. There's only four candidates for the role of the suave-super agent, says Campbell, and they're Sam Worthington, Henry Cavill, Daniel Craig and Goran Visnjic. The four actors were tested last week and in "less than three weeks", the studio will reveal who they've chosen. Yesterday, Campbell revealed details on the casting situation. Today, Swedish site Vlt has on more tidbits from Campbell on the state of the 21st James Bond film. Casting Bond Campbell went on record that they are looking for a younger actor to play a younger James Bond. This possibly rules out Barbara Broccoli's personal choice Daniel Craig from the final four in the running, leaving Henry Cavill, Sam Worthington and Goran Visnjic. MI6 reported exclusively back in March that Visnjic was Campbell's favourite for the role before screen testing had begun. On the subject of an "unknown" taking the role, Campbell explained that getting a well known actor with an established career to sign up for three films in a row is next to impossible. Campbell's comments were likely to be a nod to Clive Owen, who turned down a three picture offer to become the sixth 007 reportedly due to the contractual obligations. Other rumours were debunked by Campbell, including internet speculation over a possible Bond girl role for Sienna Miller. The only casting confirmed by Campbell was that Dame Judi Dench would be returning as M, and John Cleese as Q - despite rumours of a possible omission of his character from an early draft. Samantha Bond is sticking to her word and will not be returning when Pierce Brosnan is officially replaced. Production will shoot studio scenes in Prague, and location work will take place in the Bahamas as exclusively revealed by MI6 last month.
